How does a single LED bulb emit multiple colors in rotation? It must meet two key requirements:
Built-in IC RGB LEDs perfectly achieve color rotation in one bulb. These LEDs have an integrated IC controller inside. Simply solder the bulb to a board and connect it to a controller, and it can switch to any color you want.
For example, Lanjin Optoelectronics’ 5050RGB built-in IC LED can be driven by only 4.5V. Let’s explain how it works!
Built-in IC LEDs work through LED chips and an integrated circuit (IC). When current passes through the LED, it lights up. Different currents produce different colors, and the IC controls current flow to adjust brightness and color.
A smart RGB LED has two core parts: LED diodes for lighting and IC transistors for control.
Most RGB LEDs include three color chips: Red, Green, Blue. By controlling the brightness ratio of these three chips, the LED creates millions of colors.
By changing the intensity of R, G, B channels, built-in IC LEDs can create any color you need. That’s why they are also called multi-color smart LEDs.
1. Backlight Source: Widely used in LCD monitors, mobile phones, digital cameras, and other electronic products.
2. Decorative Lighting: Perfect for furniture, shop windows, bars, nightclubs, and landscape lighting.
